I would like to know how to make the side bar (to the right) of my blog MINE. For example, I see some bloggers have favorite bloggers...how do I list mine? Some even have email addresses, how do I get that? Thanks

Ok I saw this today on a bumper sticker and had to share. "Ain't FONDA Kerry." And then the car had Vietnam Veteran on the tag. Fonda really screwed herself during Vietnam. My husband hates her guts. Have you seen any really good bumper stickers?

Chapter 11 “What has he done?” Gainrel asked when he rejoined Mikael outside the hasma. “He has retrieved the clan emerald, and killed the man Max.” Mikael said. “What news of the merchant?” “The merchant is well,” Gainrel said. Both Legna stood atop the opposite building and watched Rotta’s hasma burn. “Your human set this fire?” Gainrel asked. Mikael nodded. “Shortly after the dead man’s body was r...

Chapter 9 Cade arrived in Amstel early the next morning. While the urge to charge into the hasma was palpable, Cade bided his time. He slept the day away in the hayloft of an old barn just inside the city. There was reconnaissance to be done before the confrontation with Rotta. He needed to know who she worked with, and if she still had his emerald and pelt. He also needed to find out how she captured Razar. There were many questions he would have from her before he delivered justice. ...

Got this from a family member....try it betcha can't do it! This is so funny and you will keep trying it. 1. While sitting at your desk, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles with it. 2. Now, while doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with your right hand. Your foot will change direction!!! And you thought you had control over your body??? Pfft. (Maybe this is why I always find my foot in my mouth!)LOL

Chapter 7 Replenished, Cade’s stride ate up the desert sand. Two days and little Rotta would pay for her treachery. He would retrieve the clan emerald and his prized pelt. His mind wandered as he ran. He was little more than a boy really the first time he saw a phant. It was not something he would ever forget. It stumbled into his clan house and knocked the entire stone structure from its foundation. It was an average size phant standing perhaps 40 hands high, all three of its ...

I am just about ready to head down to pick up my aunt and take her to "the boat." The Argossy in Indiana. It's a casino and we are going to eat and play the slots. Now I don't really like to gamble. Actually I'd rather just flush my money down the toilet and save myself a trip.LOL But, my aunt has wanted to go all summer and since the Dr told her this is probably her last summer, well I am taking her. And WE are gonna HAVE FUN. I am taking my digital camera. I don't know if they...

Chapter 5 Cade was off and trotting east before the suns set the sky burning. He hoped to come across a caravan, or an oasis, or possibly a town before night fall. Thirst beat at him. He ignored it and pushed himself forward. It was near the hottest part of the day when Cade spotted something in the distance. He squinted and tried to focus but the waves of heat distorted his vision. Was it a caravan or wishful thinking? He could not be sure, but decided anything that wasn’t compl...

Chapter 3 Rotta awoke with a start. She kicked the heavy fur pelt from around her naked body. She stared hard at it as if waiting for it to bite her. “What is it darlin?” Max lifted his head from the next pillow. “What’s got ya so riled?” “It’s cursed,” she whispered wiping the sweat from her forehead. “What’d ye say?” Max mumbled. “Cursed? Whose cursed?” Rotta shook her head as if trying to dislodge...

Prologue “…And in the days of two suns, when the races have gorged themselves on peace, darkness will unfold in tiny hands and silently stalk the land. Woe to the seen and the unseen for all will be war.” --Rock of Prophecy Chapter 1 Cade awoke. Every muscle groaned as he slowly eased up onto one elbow, tiny sand particles digging into his skin. He was so thirsty. As if in answer to the thought, a dry gust of sand blew into his already red and cracking face. He trie...

I love telling my kids stories. I love reading fiction, fantasy, sci-fi, etc. I’ve written many short stories over the years, but have a story in my mind right now that I am going to commit to paper. I will post the story on JU in chapters. My biggest problem when writing a story is going back and re-writing over and over until it’s ruined. By posting my chapters here, I will be FORCED to accept my first draft…which may mean it’s not very good (and prob with typos), but hopefully w...
