Did you ever use Cloth Diapers?  2 guys where I work just became fathers.  My Boss and I were regaling them with the stories of cloth diapers, and they were dumbfounded!

But comeon guys!  What do you think you wore when you were a baby?  And what did your parents do!

Speaking of cloth diapers, my wife and I have some friends (same age as us, late 20's) who use cloth diapers on their sons.

While they (disposables) were available when our oldest was born, they were not very good and very expensive.  It might be yucky, but this is the first generation where parents are dipping into the toilet!

Yep, that's exactly what he means! What did you think you did with the poop the kid leaves in the diaper?

we used to put flushable diaper liners in the ones my daughter used (they were like sturdy toilet paper).  That way, the "debris" could be easily dumped in the toilet and flushed, and then the diaper went into the pail.  No stinky garbage bags filled with diapers.  Low cost and better for the environment.  (Well, really it was about cost- we were broke and disposable diapers ain't cheap)
