How far do you go to help a stranger?

This is a point of contention between my husband and me.

This morning for instance.

I took my 5 year old to Target to buy a birthday gift for a friend.  On our way, I saw a man in his late 50's walking along side the busy road (no sidewalk),  using a cane and carrying a package.

There is just no other explanation.

Today I took my digital camera, the one with all my photos on it, the one that cost a fortune, the ONLY digital we have, yeah THAT one, out for some photos of our progress on the yard.  To date we have 100 tons of dirt dropped and spread.  I think its way too much, but that's another blog.

But man oh man, I HATE it when done with blatant, arrogant disregard for other users.  Almost as if TRYING to annoy, living to do it actually.

It's one thing to write several articles about different things in one day...but to take what is essentially a "what I believe" article and ...

Went to a baby shower a few weeks ago.

Went to the dollar store today.

I wonder how long it will stay the dollar store with the cost of everything going up.  The Dollar and a Quarter Store just doesn't have the same "It's a Bargain" ring.

At the beginning of warm weather I can't wait to go outside and get my hands in the soil.  There is something precious about greeting my yard and garden as it awakens from a long winter's nap.  I look at each bud, each new leaf, and mark its progress each day.
