If you click the title of the result, you'll be shown the following warning rather than being taken immediately to the webpage in question:

So I'm wondering if Stardock knows Google has identified the JoeUser forums as harmful?  Is it just JU or all Stardocks sites?  Might this affect traffic?

Just checkin......

Someone needs to give Google a swift kick in the wallet!

What is livertip.com?  Everytime I come to the JU forums, Norton tells me its blocks an attack from livertip.

A bad site according to Norton.  Just has evil programs trying to infect your computer.

Google Analytics, and two other scripts are blocked logging on to the site. (WC).

Google Analytics is a tracking script. It wont harm your system but you will get targeted ads.

livertip is why google tag these pages as attack pages.

I finally had to disable Ghostery...prevented me logging on here!

That shouldn't have prevented you logging in, being it is only for disabling tracking devices.

I have Ghostery, No Script and Ad Block running and I have no issues logging in... with WC and Stardock added to the whitelists.

That's why I installed Ghostery and the ad blocking proggies.  A while ago I mentioned something about a spider bite in a forum thread and the next thing I knew I was getting Aussie pest control ads when not logged in... which I always should have been as I have FF remember my login details.  However, around that time, I was frequently being logged out for some reason and kept getting damned ads for crap I'd never buy.

Since enabling Ghostery, No Script and Ad Block, though, I've not had any issues, other than a few site related ones during and after the change over to the new format.

Had no issue with Ghostery as well. Not a bad addon.

Even though I took off Ghostery and Adblocker as well as Noscripts now this screwy site still won't let me logon with ff (onto forums) I log onto the home page just fine.

Maybe if I adjust the contrast and hue, and brightness as well as changing the blind and wall, and promise not to say anything bad about DX and if it's a blue moon over Equador and I promise not to tell the truth about Sarah Palin, the site'll let me logon.

Actually?

Maybe no more subscriptions until SD hires someone to fix this nonsense.

It's a bloody brilliant little addon.   Since installing it (plus the other stuff) I've not had one single pop-up pop-under... no targeted browser ads, either.

I still get the occasional Viagra and dick enlarger spam in my junk mail folder, but I just block them/the domain and bounce them back, so those are now so far and few between these days that my email notifier for that account only goes off once in a blue moon.

I found the problem...if you remove WC from your browser everything works.

Hmmm, I can see that being a best seller.  'Twould be a very interesting read indeed... especially the bit about her parking under the bridge to nowhere cos it's the only quiet place she can find to smoke a bit of weed.  Yup, I reckon it'd be a bigger seller than her book: "Teaching your Teenager About Safe sex & Avoiding Pregnancy".

Oh, and how did that adjusting the contrast, hue and brightness work?  Tried it on mine and now I'm picking up Channel 10.  It's just a re-run of that idiot Letterman, tho, so I'll fiddle a bit with the vertical hold and see if I can get Fringe on 9.

Including leaving quotes here.... very clever, very clever indeed.  You've been messing with the hue and horizontal hold, haven't you?

I will try contacting webmaster@livertip.com.

In the meantime, IMO would be best to just ban ads from that site.
