I don't have stars in my eyes when it comes to Mitt Romney. I believe he will move left once elected. And I'm actually ok with that on just about everything, for cooperations sake, but spending. At the end of the day, Romney wants America to be a great country. That's far more than I can say for Barry.

Well, if you see it, it's worth voting for.

I haven't watched it yet, but I might now just to watch Obama stutter and Romney show a love of country.  We should have a President that wants us to be better, not worse. 

I caught only a brief minute or two of the debate, but monitored a couple of live blogs during most of it.  Watching the reactions to the debate was far more interesting than listening to BO mumble/stumble (which is like nails on a chalkboard for me anymore).  Even the overtly leftist media sycophants were dumbstruck at how bad Obama was and grudgingly complimentary at how well Romney performed.  It was so bad for BO that they couldn't even muster the energy to do their usual immediate post-facto fact check dance.

The important thing is that it was just one debate and God only knows what the Chicago mob has up its sleeve to try to mitigate or distract from last night's damage.  Cannot think Romney delivered a decisive knockout blow.  It has to be a full-on assault all the way to election day, even though it's quite clear, even to many of his supporters now, that this emperor has no wardrobe.

With the economy in the toilet, Romney is at least excited about helping America.  BO couldn't have cared less.  If you watch it...let me know what you think!

In reality, anything they offer up, anything at all will be enough for people looking for a reason to vote BO.  Last night tho, BO didn't even give them that.

I hear people talking about Romney's lack of "specifics."  I think he was very specific considering the time limit.  How many specifics do they expect him to squeeze in 2 minutes?

I'm not optimistic Romney will get such an easy win again.  But it'll be a good test for him.

Oh, and Al Gore is saying BO was off his game because of thin air and elevation?!  lol  I've been to Denver many times, spent 4 months there once.  Yes, the air takes some getting used too, (serious pollution and "thin-ness")....but it makes you breathless, not stupid.

You know, I don't even care that they're voting for him because he's black.  It's just the flimsy excuses to try and cover the real motivation that offends me.

The reason it is so easy to label a white woman a racist when she doesn't like BO, is because they see my choice through the lens of their own motives, which is race.  Never occurs to them incompetence trumps race...at least for me...every single time.

Ya know, in fractional reserve banking, tax cuts are like welfare. You must dissipate fractional reserve currency on schedule. When you give corporations and the wealthy tax breaks, you put a heavy burden on the middle class... oh wait... oops... they don't do that either.... they leave it for the next guy to clean up so they look bad with deficit spending and tax increases.

Selfish?  That's a joke right?  Did you know Obama didn't give more than $3,500 a year to charity from 2000-2004...it wasn't until he wanted to look good that he upped that amount, but not by much.  Not proportionally like Romney.

So you have a Democrat president who doesn't believe in giving his OWN money, but plays fast and loose with OURS...and his opponent who gives millions to non-profits.  (I guess he's selfish, giving all that money away.)

Since Dems are so smart, I'm sure you can list a handful of things BO has done that exhibits that intelligence.

BO is back on the campaign trail...talking smack. 

What a backbiter.  He took his lumps at the debate when it was face to face, man to man, now... NOW when there is no one to fight,  or contradict, he gets brave, and mouthy.

I realized today BO isn't just incompetent.  He's a coward.  He's afraid.  There is no other explanation for letting our country be hit by terrorists with no swift response, and on a lesser note, timidly facing an opponent in a debate then talking smack about him behind his back like a tuff guy.

Personally, I find cowardice one of the top 3 worst character traits a human can exhibit.  Because in my experience, there is no lie; no level of debauchery and backbiting; a coward won't travel just to keep from getting a beat down.  Which always seems to drag others down with them.

Ugh.

(Edited to add:  This is probably TMI, but I have a visceral reaction to cowardice for many reasons, the primary being I suffered as a child and young adult at the hands of cowardly "authority" figures.  Kind of like eating too much of a food, throwing it up, and never being able to eat that food again....I just can't tolerate it.

Lucky for me I married a very brave man! 

I'm not sure if Barack is a coward, after all "Barack knows what it's like, to be a black man livin' in a country, and a culture, that's controlled by rich white people!" No seriously, he was just totally lost without his teleprompter and had to wait for David Axlepuke and Plouffe to spoon feed all his responses on the following day.

I got back from a work/visit trip to Maine just in time for the debate. I took away from it basically the same as you have.

Romney came ready to rumble while Obama thought he could coast his way through. 

Romney wasn't my first, second or even third choice...but the choice is him and Constitutionality or 4 more years of Obama's regime. 

Yup. No doubt Romney loves America and sees her specialness. 

Obama believes America is the 1% globally and wants to bring her down. The movie "2016" proves that. 

Here's a joke my son told me. 

Years ago, we had Ronald Reagan, Johnny Cash, Bob Hope and Steve Jobs. Now we have Obama, no cash, no hope and no jobs!   

No it won't because the wealthy will simply move out of the country taking their money and jobs with them. 

In 2008, then-candidate Obama promised that under his plan no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. In reality, Obamacare contains 18 new or increased takes and penalties that will cost tax payers $837 Billion over the next 10 years and many of which will fall heavily on the middle class. 

And they should.  How ridiculous...this whole class war thing.  When did it become a bad thing to be wealthy in this country?  I'm HAPPY when people become wealthy.  I think it's a wonderful side effect of hard work.

And last time I checked, poor and middle class Americans weren't creating the bulk of jobs in this country.

Maybe he doesn't want to be re-elected.  Maybe he knows what is so obvious to anyone paying attention....he's not up to the job.
