He earned $10 because the drive was cleaner than when I shovel it!

He does it now every time it snows.  Pretty awesome little man.

kudos to Gavin!  Where was Hunter?   Nice hearing your voice T!   Always making those yummy brownines....hmmm think I'll make some today.

but I do have to say that looked like wimpy snow compared to what we used to get in Maine!   We're talking knee to thigh-high most of the time!

We never bought a snow blower ever until our three snowblowers (Bobby, Brian and David) moved out of the house.

As a former Mainer, I can relate to shoveling snow. So your little guy definitely has a special attitude...cute too!

That's what my Aunt Shelby said about a dishwasher until I moved out...

I think it was about 5 inches, maybe six.  But that's a lot of snow for a 49 pound little boy.  It took him an hour, and he didn't stop one time.

Always making those yummy brownines

Ha, yup.  Gavin loves them and he needed the calories after moving all that snow.  Hunter was in the house waiting for the brownies to get done.

He has such a great work ethic Lula.  When he sets his mind to something, he just keeps at it, no matter what...sometimes through tears and red faced frustration, until he accomplishes it.

If I could just get him to apply that to school, we'd be rockin.

Great worker there, T.  And a detail guy, too.  He is also a cute kid.

He's a good boy....though today he told me to make sure I don't ever double dip when eating chips and salsa, because I might give someone (meaning HIM) cancer.

buwhahahahaha

because I might give someone (meaning HIM) cancer.

I understand that this is a common fear amongst youngsters whose parent has cancer.

ONe of the journalists on Fox cable, can't think of her first name but last name is Griffin, had breast cancer and they did a very good report on how she handled it with her 3 young children...2 school age and a baby. The 2 school age were scared they would somehow "catch" her cancer and this was one area where she focused to alleviate that fear.
