why its annoying
Published on May 2, 2008 By Tova7 In Blog Communities

One of the best features at JU is being able to read about other people's lives.  What they think, work for, love for, ARE for.

I also understand multiple posting is not frowned upon by the admins.

But man oh man, I HATE it when done with blatant, arrogant disregard for other users.  Almost as if TRYING to annoy, living to do it actually.

It's one thing to write several articles about different things in one day...but to take what is essentially a "what I believe" article and make it a dozen ...its ridiculous.

It reminds me think of toe nails.

Broken toe nails to be exact.

Article 1...On breaking a toe nail.

Article 2....On filing it

Article 3...On removing old polish

Article 4...On applying new polish

Article 5...On blowing it dry

Article 6....On watching the lights reflect off the nice red color

Article7....Why polish and Polish are spelled the same way.

Seriously.

I am having Jenn1 flashbacks.

I try to put in reviews on different subjects, not just one thing. If you don't give about my articles, I don't care. I'm writing for those who do.

Who?..........just kidding.

Most of those I see are there to give negative comments and criticize. Seems like you love the attention, negative attention that is.

Not to mention it gives the opportunity to try out new levels of sarcasm.Oh well.More power to him.

Ha ha! That is CLASSIC!

Dude, the point you seem to be missing is that your stuff IS on one subject. And you are annoying people with your minutia and making it difficult for other people to be read. Basially the concept that people are trying to express to learn how to share the space with others.

If people think your articles are pretty much similar then maybe you need to review at your articles. Even you are the type of guy to divide your carmine colored buttons from your scarlet buttons in your collection, most other people are going to see a bunch of red buttons.

I can't imagine how I missed your article Tova (sarcasm). I just wrote one myself on the same thing. I'm going back to it right now to add a comment linking your article just so this "idea" gets further dissemination.

Karma coming to you for this article.

After talking about this briefly with my wife (asaxygirl for those who didn't know) I have decided to found the Coalition for the Suppression of Disrespectful Bloggers. To join this coalition you must simply realize one thing:

It is our replies that encourage negative behavior, and even though it IS fun to take blind shots and still hit the target in the bullseye because the bullseye is about as big as the universe itself, it is having the side affect of hampering the enjoyment of our own collective space.

So take the oath with me.

I, state your JU name, will boycott any blogger who states that he/she doesn't care about his/her fellow bloggers fair use of the site. No matter how enticing it is to pull the metaphorical wings off of a fly-like argument, I will resist for the betterment of JU as a blog site and for the enjoyment of my fellow JUs whether I agree or disagree with those JUs on any other level.

RAmen.

I, the beautiful, godlike entity known only as San Chonino, will boycott any blogger who states that he/she doesn't care about his/her fellow bloggers fair use of the site. Population: Tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiirrrrrreeeeeee!

Yeah, I signed it on Ock's site, too, but I feel the need to let my opinion be known.

I'm tired of the articles that I actually spend time and thought on buried under a pile of stinky shit.

Up the irrrons, people. I'm ready to commit some acts of pirrracy.

and maybe he can do it in one article every 5 hours instead of every 5 minutes. Just a suggestion. I don't click on his things at all because of his spam, so even if he has something worthwhile to read, I won't see it now.

Amen.

I think we all know we're gutter-dwellers and proud of it.

hahaha.

Well I actually think JU is at the top of what is available in this genre on the net.  I wouldn't call it the gutter, more like the penthouse.

Thank you Tova!

You're welcome...though your man did a much better job of describing the angst of it all.

To me, this is it in a nutshell....SHARE ERTH!  You're old enough to appreciate how sharing the site with other users is to YOUR benefit.

I don't want to be a hypocrite.

There is someone on JU and...I don't care if he has fair use rights..so technically I'd be one of the people you're boycotting.

As far as JU goes....Erth needs a community reminder to share....heh.  But I don't think its ban worthy, or boycott worthy.  Then again I haven't read him in a long time so I really can't say for sure about content...

You are right.

I'm done.

He truly must be 18 because it's like trying to reason with a wall.

He truly must be 18 because it's like trying to reason with a wall.

That's so funny because Rose and I were just talking and she told me about the articles in here about the excessive posting and I told her," It's a waste of time though because he doesn't get it. It's like talking to a wall".

I'm just surprised he gets a lot of comments especially since he seems like a big coward and baby with his constant deleting. Are you sure he's 18? He seems younger. If he only can see that some bloggers here are actually trying to help him.

hahaha...I only ever think about lying to be younger not older! So yeah, he could be younger...I dunno.

Frankly, my 12 year old has more sense.
on May 03, 2008

I don't read or comment on anything he writes anymore.  I can't be bothered wasting my time on such a narrow-minded, ignorant ass, even if he is only 18.  I know 12 years olds who can formulate better research than he can.

Erath, you're obviously marching yourself to the blogging guillotine, take the advice, and apply it. If you really want the discussions, just do it, otherwise you ain't gonna be getting any.
