We are getting some serious snow fall right now.  The most we've gotten all season.

The weather channel says we are supposed to get between 13-15" by tomorrow afternoon.

I woke up this morning, no snow.

Now there is almost three inches.

Schools are supposed to get out 2 hours early.

They need to get the kids home now.  I went to the grocery store earlier and there was about an inch on the ground.  The roads were horrible.  I am considering going to get Hunter from school.  I worry about him riding on the bus in bad weather.  If someone's gonna get into an accident and put his life in danger it should be me. heh.

Gah!  The tips of my day lilies were just poking up through the winter mulch.  They'll be ok, but I was so hoping WINTER WAS OVER.

Sledding will be great here tomorrow!  Woot.

Let the plows get out there and do their jobs, and then everything should let out. If everything lets out, everyone's driving slow, the plows can't get through, and people get stuck in traffic until 11 pm. Children, let out of school at 1pm, get stuck on the bus until 11 pm.

Well its falling fast enough they are having a hard time keeping up.  They clear the main roads, then have to go back and do it again.  The side roads, where school buses tread, get nadda.

Ah, you're just north of here aren't you?

It's a bitch outside. I had to walk half way across campus to get back to the warmth of my dorm. ...the snow hurts your face after a few minutes.

Oh well, at least there's a dining hall right across the yard, so it's not a huge venture to secure supplies for myself. Then I won't have to resort to cannabilism.

This is the first winter I have ever seen where we haven't had any measurable snow. Ya know, it's been kinda nice too.
