Once we unpacked we headed out to see the sights.

Across the street is a brand new casino.  It's not just a casino, nope.  There is shopping, eating, and even a fudge shop!  (Which we visited everyday we were there, heh.)   There is a glass enclosed walkway from the Hilton to the casino as well.

Me in front of the Casino.

View of casino from Hilton.

Skywalk connecting the Hilton to the casino.

Inside the Casino....or the building that houses the casino.

Huge water sculpture....

Nightlights from our room....

More on the second day and the "sites" next.......

good luck at the casino!

Actually I hate gambling...BORING...so I alloted myself a whole $15 the first night...which I lost, $20 the second night, which I lost, and $20 the third night which I hit $138.50 on the nickel slots.  HAHAHAH  I cashed out and left.  So that casino didn't get any money from me.

Well I guess its a matter of perspective.  I am putting in the photos as more of a photo journal type thing, and the hotel was part of the trip.  But this is of the casino and shopping center not the hotel.

So how is it being a blond

A lot cheaper I can tell you that! heh.  And since I've been blond my whole life, it was nothing new.  Now I liked being brunette, loved it.  But keeping it up sucks.

you took some great pictures too, and you're looking happy and quite pretty

Thanks Trudy.

Thanks forever.  I tend to be hot or cold when it comes to taking pictures.  I either over do it....or don't do it at all....this is just a sampling of them....the falls are next.

HAHAHAHA. My point exactly! Every day we took a break at 4:30 to about 6...we bought fudge took it to our room and brewed decaf coffee. We sat and munched watching the falls or one day Jerry Springer, yeah I know.

My aunt says Jerry was once the mayor of Cincinnati and that his career cooled a bit when he was caught with a prostitute. Well not exactly "caught"...she says he was short of cash and paid by check and was discovered that way.

So lots of people in the area say, "What the heck, I'll pay by check!"

It's a local saying that refers to this incident.

Heres an article on it.

Now off of Jerry......

After our fudge break we headed out for some night time fun, usually centered around the casino...but there was a lot to do in that building.
