Five years ago, on JoeUser, I “met” UDig, aka Chris.  I loved his sense of humor, his writing, the way he loved InBloom.

Online acquaintance grew into friendship.

Yesterday this vibrant, funny, talented young man passed away from health complications.

God bless him.  God bless Inbloom.

May he rest in peace.

His blog.

He was such a special guy.  I am so sorry Rose.

He was the nicest, funniest and kindest person here. He always gave encouragement and even in his fantastic sarcasm he was never mean spirited. The most loving theing I remember is when Rose was having a bad day he took her across town to a cupcake place and got her a special cupcake and took  her mind off her troubles.  I'm so happy I got to know just a little bit of him and I feel for Rose. It will be so hard to say goodbye. I said it before, the world is a better place because he was in it.

I am very sorry to hear that. I grew to like and respect Chris (and Rose) very much.  We had many a very heated and friendly rivalries going.  I will miss his sense of humor and charm.  Tell Rose I am sorry for her loss and would like to send a donation in his memory to his charity.

A heartbreaking day.  First I hear of Moderateman's death, now Udigit, and now your breast cancer.

I need a phone call, chikka, as soon as you are up to it.  Lost yours when I had to replace our hard drive.

xoxo

A heartbreaking day.  First I hear of Moderateman's death,

Oh man....I hadn't heard that.  Sorry, gals.

Thanks for putting this up, Tonya. And I am so sorry to here about Moderateman's death. He was quite a passionate writer on here.

When I feel up to it again, I would like to put up a writing in honor of Chris. I know I haven't been on here for a while, but some writing therapy might do me good.

Thanks to everyone for their kind thoughts. Doc, Chris was very involved in the Boys' and Girls' Clubs in Toledo, Ohio. He was once a member and an employee, and spoke fondly of this place. I will be making a donation in his honor as well.

oh, so very sad to hear this news.    I was thinking about him not too long ago wondering where he went to.  Another sad day for JU.  I pray everyone else here stays healthy and strong.

Tonya, hoping to see you soon if you feel up to it.  Be there  very shortly.  Looks like we may have babysitting duties while mommy and daddy go away for a date night or two.

Interested in some Florida Oranges/grapefruit?

Oranges always!  Grapefruit...love it, but can't have it with chemo.  No one else in the house eats it.  But thanks!

Tonya, hoping to see you soon if you feel up to it.

I feel fabulous Dawn, besides the occasional muscle tweaks....let me know as soon as you have some time!  I can come to you while your babysitting too....whatever is easiest for you!

I think that would be wonderful Rose.

Thanks for the donation information.

I didn't know about Elie aka Modman.  I just sent him an email yesterday. I hate to lose friends and I hate to lose touch with friends.  I miss what a wonderful community we had here on Joeuser.  I am glad that I met so many wonderful people here.  I am glad to continue to be friends with many of you.

RoseMary, you know I love you and I am so sad about Chris.  I wish I had gotten to meet him in person but I thought he was such a wonderful person.
