Disturbia, fiction, family, friends, and everything else between the lions.

My little man has finally decided what he wants to be when he "grows up."

At first he couldn't decide between this and a dinosaur.  But looks like this won out.

So we took this picture this morning for posterity.

Watch out bad guys!

Sorry for the blur...my twelve year old has little patience with picture taking....

hahahaaha maybe he can model it for me when I come for a visit.

Amanda's very grateful for all the clothes you sent over for Ethan.  She said Ethan's wearing a pair of your son's shoes but since they are so big....she's putting tissues in the toes so he can go out in them.

I just picked up a cute onesie for the new baby that says:

DON'T MESS

WITH ME

CUZ MY

NANA

KICKS

BUTT!!

Good I am glad she can use them.

hahaha.

Gavin loves costumes.  He has the red spiderman and the black.  He wants the rock man one (from Fantastic 4) and a bat.  Not bat man...just a bat...so I will probably have to sew that one...haha

While Spider-Man is a solid choice (and has been my favorite since 1987), dinosaurs are cooler.

Think about it - Spider-Man versus Velociraptor.

Raptor for the win!

Well he does alternate. He wants to be a T-Rex, and occasionally a Triceratops. I've seen the first and third Jurassic Parks so many times I know all the dialog by heart.

Well that's the problem. He's picking the wrong dinosaur. Spider-Man could totally take out either one of those two.

This is why a Velociraptor would win.

But then again, maybe I'm just raptor crazed.

I remember being Superman.

And I remember being SO disappointed when I jumped off the roof to find the cape didn't work...

That is so awesome Tonya. I haven't seen black spiderman costume.

SC: I had no idea there were so many rules for house plans. I will have to keep that in mind when we ever build our house. Yikes.

And I remember being SO disappointed when I jumped off the roof to find the cape didn't work...

I remember after watching Mary Poppins jumping off the carport with an umbrella. That didn't work either!

Bummer.  I don't think I ever really believed I could fly, the strength part I could buy into...but I don't ever remember actually believing in super heros, or santa or anything else like that.

But then again, maybe I'm just raptor crazed.

hahaha...ya think?  Don't forget v-raptors opened doors on Jurassic park...hahah

Don't remind me. Now I'll never be able to sleep tonight . . .

The rest of it all is filled with fear of raptors.

hahahaha. Makes you want to forgo those fancy lever handles and just go with plain old knobs.

Cool costume... I'm a big Spiderman fan, have been since the 70s. I'm not so much into the Venom Spiderman. I'm more of a traditional, red-suited Spiderman person. I never wanted to be Superman as a kid, I wanted to be Batman with his utility belt packed with heaps of awesome gadgets. Part of me still wants that utility belt too.
