Internet Explorer 7 is out.  This is probably old news to everyone else but I just found it and down loaded it.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new tab feature.  But there seems to be some compatibility issues with it and my big fix/emachines update thingy.

If you don't have it yet.....Link

Me, certainly. Not because it's IE and I don't like Firefox because it's Firefox. I like them both (Heck, even Opera, now) because they make my work easier. Thank you oh simplified web!

Each to his own! That's what choice is all about I guess.

I like it because I don't use any other browser...so I'm not sure if that even counts...hahaha.

Im a Maxthon user as well, and quite happy with. I'm going to wait a bit for MS to work out any issues in IE7 that turns up before I have a look at it.

but yet far slower than Firefox

I've not noticed this at all.

May be a question of machine...On my PC, FF2 has fast launch and opens pages very quickly, IE7 load slower, and opens pages slower too, overall whit images.
It may be different for other PC.
For me, I keep FF as first browser ! No problem with that !

Has anyone else noticed that in IE7 you can't move the address bar around or anything else for that matter. The old IE you could move the toolbars around and put the menu bar where you wanted, not so in 7. Its really annoying.

Update, btw...I have no issues with IE7 on Vista...I am beginning to think it was designed primarily for Vista, and that is the source of the conflicts that some are having.

I dunno Gid...BUT yesterday my computer crashed...hard core. I had to reformat my hard drive to even get it to work. I don't know if IE 7 has anything to do with it, I doubt it....but my puter was humming along just fine until I downloaded it...and then it started acting wonky.

What is SP1? It is my only browser but I'm not having any problems....uh, yet.

Service Pack 1.  It use to be dont use a 1.0 product, but things are not that simple any more.  So the new maxim is wait for Service Pack 1.  Unless you like beta testing.

Everybody who uses Internet Explorer 7.0 has Service Pack 0
After a couple of months Microsoft offers Service Pack 1 for Internet Explorer 7.0, Windows Vista, Office 2007,....

There after a year or 2, Microsoft introduces Service Pack 2, just what they did with Windows XP. After that probably a new Windows.. Some said Windows BlackComb..
When are they going to introduce WINFS? They say it was with Vista, but NO, it's still NTFS..  Longhorn, never exally introduced, just a few beta's,.. Oh well Microsoft want to be the best, by creating software that anyone can use, but how many people use Office 2007 with all the new techniques and new object and new functions?? Not many.. And that shall be also with Office 2008, 2009,....
