Internet Explorer 7 is out.  This is probably old news to everyone else but I just found it and down loaded it.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new tab feature.  But there seems to be some compatibility issues with it and my big fix/emachines update thingy.

If you don't have it yet.....Link

It has taken me a few days to get used to...but, I think I'm beginning to warm up to it...

I don't mind change as long as the "change" is easier and more better...heh.

So far, more better!

Already downloaded.

But yes, it is still a bit buggy.  Wait for SP1 to convert if that is your only browser.

What is SP1?  It is my only browser but I'm not having any problems....uh, yet.

I have downloaded it but saved it to the desktop and have not opened it to install because I heard it had problems and I did not want to face them, as I would not know what to do with them. So on the desktop it sits....

What is SP1?

I think it is Service Pack...pretty sure that's it. Means "patch to fix known bugs." heh.

Mine is not wonky Jen, I think you'd be safe to use it now.

I hate the fact you can't skin the tabs yet. That pale blue doesn't match any of my skins and the anti-aliasing looks as if it was done by a chimpanzee...

Service Pack 1.  It use to be dont use a 1.0 product, but things are not that simple any more.  So the new maxim is wait for Service Pack 1.  Unless you like beta testing.

Funny you mentioned this. My husband told me about it the second day it came out, only because I asked him what the heck IE7 means. I guess I saw it somewhere.

So I downloaded it too...but the one reason I've never switched to Mozilla is the tabs. Now with IE7 I've got those very tabs I've been trying to avoid ::

I have a habit of pressing Alt+tab to switch between windows, and now of course with the tabs my Alt+tab habit is responded to with a quick blink of the screen, reminding me that trick doesn't work anymore.

Well you are much more computer savvy than me Angela.  Heh.

I like the tabs because it seems more like folders.  Relate anything in computer land to the real world and I can understand it...but if it deviates I'm LOST.  And I ain't talkin desert island sista!

Put it on my laptop, but not this, main desktop, PC.
Don't like non-skinnable parts
Like it just because it's new
Time will tell...
IE6 runs just fine on this box. Has all I need and I'm used to it.

Ah yes I've heard this before..haha...but since I am skin-less, just standing here with my organs all hanging out, the tabs don't bother me too much. Heh.

Exactly why my husband is still using it on his computer...haha

I finally got it . . . I'm liking it so far, but it just kinda reminds me of netscape, without the N . . . oh well. Whatever.
